So.....I finally got one!

I currently have a lwb D3 4.2tdi (owned for over 5 yrs).

I've been looking, daily, on Autotrader, eBay etc.....at the D4 model (same engine).

So - this is what I wanted: not lwb, dark colour, dark carpets, sunroof and essentially the adaptive cruise (which I currently have and love!).

This is what I got - 2011 4.2 tdi exec LWB, QUARTZ grey with LIGHT carpets and light seats.
A few comprises but the spec and history though won me over.
Options - Audi assist with pre sense plus
All LED headlights
Comfort seats with memory
Solar roof
Power close doors
Twin pane glass
Sports air suspension
Bose
Phone high
Heated steering wheel
Comfort headrests
19" 5 spoke alloys ( ill be putting my 20" parallel D4 wheels on which are currently fitted to my D3).

Obviously, this is not the highest spec around but some nice goodies on there.

1 private owner (I bought from him, not a dealer).

Original receipt for the car and FULL Audi history (no doubt I'll be breaking the chain there) and a respectable 67k miles.

Very pleased with my purchase, though I was surprised how much smaller the boot is and the fact it hasn't got a rear view camera! No evidence of one in the boot lid and just a graphic display.

Just thought I'd share my purchase with the masses.:)

I believe the reason for the boot being smaller in part is due to the amount of electronics in the car, which are positioned across the length of the back seat. Not sure about the rest of the boot.
