2003 s8 dome lights and trunk lights not working
 

Is there a fuse or relay i am not finding or where is the fuse located so i can double check any help is appreciated

I'm not sure if your dome lights wouldn't come under Roof Electrics
Have you actually checked bulbs??

A 2003 S8 will be a late D2, not D3, I think

Yes it is d2 body weird 2003 a8 has d3 body but 03 s8 has d2 body

I've got a 2003-reg D2 S8 as well.;) D3 S8 didn't come out for a while after the D3 launch.
Also had the same problem after accidentally shorting a lead while upgrading to LED bulbs and found the fuse "eventually" by looking in the drivers handbook.

Can't recall where it is (possibly by the drivers right foot or in that small panel above the battery?) but IIRC it's not 100% clear that's what it covers as it does other things too, so you may need to "read between the lines" a bit.

My apologies guys, I didn't knew about late D2 S8 being on 03 plate (Second generation (D3, Typ 4E; 2002–2009)

Just looked in the manual as it happens to be in my office near the computer....
I "think" it's drivers footwell carrier 5 (brown) fuse 1 - Pump for central locking, anti-theft alarm diode, interior lights. 10A.

I do recall that the little red diode in the doors also stopped flashing and that gave me a clue to find it, but I had no C/L problems. :Confused:
