Adios, Amigo's!
Well, a week ago, I sold my Quattro Sport to a young Lithuanian guy.
Scared the living daylights out of him when demonstrating the superb handling of the Quattro Sport. A mere 30 minutes later, he was kindly driving me home in his new toy. My AUDI A8 tenure has come to an end and I miss her terribly. The thrill of 310 BHP responding to throttle input is becoming a distant memory.. Thanks to you all for your advice and banter in my time on here. It HAS been emotional. Apart from my Lotus7 days, the D2 has been the most engaging, thrilling and enjoyable drive of the 50+ cars I've owned to date. My sole, daily drive is now my trusty 2000 Range Rover Vogue 4.6 V8. Adios, Amigo's! DailyMike. |
You know that you are not automatically barred from The Forum. There are quite a few people who have stayed in contact after their 8 has departed.
You just might bite that expensive bullet again, after all you are already missing her! Don't be a stranger. |

I will pop back on from time to time and, if you're ever in my neck of the woods, I'll always be up for a coffee and a natter. Kind regards, Mike. |

I'll pop back occasionally to see how the other half lives! Kind regards, Mike. |
