2016 UK A8/S8 Owners Annual Meet

Ok Boys and Girls - This Year we went to North Wales, The Year before we went to The Scottish Highlands. . . .

Don't say you don't get enough notice . . . . next years Annual Meet details are as follows -

DATE: FRIDAY 3rd - SUNDAY 5th JUNE 2016
LOCATION: SOUTH WALES!!

This will include Driving in the Brecon Beacons National Park, Visits to The National Botanic Garden of Wales, and a visit to Pendine Sands Museum of Speed and lastly the Beautiful Village of Tenby which is stunning. (See also pics attached) and possibly . . The return of . . . The Treasure Hunt!

So we are back to the first weekend in June! +++

There is many a good reason for our choice of location but a quite important additional reason is that I am also planning

ExplorA8tion Ireland! See separate thread HERE

which for those of you that would like to or are able to, will follow on after the annual meet with a short drive to Pembroke to get the Ferry across to Rosslare in Ireland where a flurry of coastal driving will begin around the wibbly wobbly bits of Ireland!

http://www.wildatlanticway.com

You will then be treated to some of the best coastal driving and scenic roads there is to see along with stunning beaches, beautiful villages and towns, and vibrant cities. Great B&B's and no doubt some small amounts of the black stuff at some of Ireland's hostelries will ensue.

This journey would run from the Sunday 5th June for the following 10 days possibly returning on Thursday 13th June via Dublin-Holyhead when you have to return to the UK.

Sean (Steamship) has agreed to help me organise this trip and more information and an attendees list will be posted shortly as we do need firm commitment of numbers early on so we know how many B&B places we are looking for en-route etc.

Thats all for now but more details will be posted below for the 2016 Annual Meet as the rest of the details are worked out. . . . DON'T MISS IT!!! :D

Hi Matt - no for the reasons already stated it will be at where it will be +++
If however anyone would like to suggest a venue for the following year and they are prepared to help with the organising in that area as TinTin has and The Scottish Gents have in the past couple of years then let me know!
