Hi Nakata and welcome.
Amazing work, well done!!!
I see its a LHD car, where are you based? not in the UK I'm guessing.

How did you get round the problem of fooling the gearbox computer that the auto box is still there?

nakata 29th November 2012 08:23 PM

I'm Bulgarian. If you want to fool the TCU is need to recode: ECU,ABS and instrument. But i drive directly with TCU in drive mode (D). I don't have any problems with that(only TCU stay in limp mode). Everything work perfektly, for now.

Zdravo!

I am from Serbia. You have excellent skills.
I will have to go to a mechanic to get my one converted.
Does it feel faster with the manual gearbox?

Let us know how much your fuel economy improves. Really amazing job that you did it all by yourself.
I cant wait to do mine, unfortunately the UK ones have a big problem - no manual pedal box.

all the best,

Goran

Mixed fuel consumption is 11 liter LPG per 100km, average speed 37km. All conversion cost me 600 euro. Engine rebiuld cost me 800 euro.

Goran 11th December 2012 12:07 PM

I dont know about LPG, is that better than before?
That is cheap, I think so far all the parts cost me £2500. Gearbox was £500.

nakata 11th December 2012 04:50 PM

Before that i drive on CNG and fuel consumption was ~30% more.
