For Sale: A8 D2 genuine floor mats beige.
 

I have a full set of genuine Audi floor mats for D2 as I no longer have D2. These are pre-facelift but will fit facelift as well as the shape is the same just different material. I bought them unused old stock in 2010 and car was retired 2019, in this time it did about 15000 miles. They are discontinued from Audi since 2009-2010 and hard to find these days. There is some wear to drivers mat as can be seen in picture, I have vacuumed them and they are not too bad but could do with a good clean/wash. Part numbers are 4D2061225A for a full set or 4D2061225EA ( EB) front and 4D0061226EB (EC) for rear. Colour code S28 - ecrue (beige) but they look more like grey to me. I think considering the rarity of them and reasonable condition £40 pick up or + postage would be a fair price.

I think the PF mats are also a better quality material than the FL ones.... +++

I might be interested Ainar, but only as a backup set for mine, so it's probably better that they find a home that sees the value in them as the main set.

PF was a lovely deep wool covering. FL, was a much cheaper, regular carpet.

Its one of the very, very few indications that Audi 'cheapened' the D2 when they facelifted it.

That, and the list price, that went down by a considerably number..... !

I have a real soft spot for the PF D2. Yes, the FL was superior in many ways, but, it appeared 5 years later, and the FL wasn't 5 years better imo. It was built to a budget on it older siblings success, as many facelifts in the motor industry are.....

Very well put Ian, definitely NOT 5 years better.
And from the perspective of almost another 25 years down the track the improvements fade into near insignificance.
I really wish now that I'd been able to keep that rather special PF S8 of mine running.

There has been no other interest so far so I guess you can have them if you are still interested.
