how to fix lacquer problems???
right heres some pics of some alloys that have minor lacquer issues
but whats the right way to repair fix it? not a full refurb ust for this surely??? http://i65.photobucket.com/albums/h2...OUR/wheel1.jpg at the bottom that little bit http://i65.photobucket.com/albums/h2...OUR/wheel2.jpg them little lines at top heres a pic of one after i rubbed one with 2000 wet and dry no pitting or anythink but if this the right way of dong things how do i get the shine to match the rest? not sure if i spray some lacquer on if that will do it. its all flat to the touch now just lack of shine on the bit i did. so say there stainless edge on them any ideas welcome http://i65.photobucket.com/albums/h2...OUR/wheel3.jpg |
If it were me I would wet sand with some 2500 W&D that was soaked overnight. Once nicely feathered, polish with autosolve until shiny then spray the lacquer.
