A8 KAK spotted
i got worried thinking A8,s were KAK when i saw this coming towards me yesterday !
its ok it was an A6 2.0 tdi Quattro but looked very nice there so big now aren't they ? |
I struggle to tell the difference nowadays between A6's and A8's (newer versions) when they are driving on the road.
They look too similar. In fact, if someone rebadged their A6 to an A8 and asked me what I thought of their new "A8" I'm sure I'd be fooled. Not like the old A6's - C4, C5, C6 where you can instantly tell what it is. |

However, the new ones both have a chrome strip on the rear. http://forum.a8parts.co.uk/attachmen...1&d=1551611556 http://forum.a8parts.co.uk/attachmen...1&d=1551611556 When one of those is driving past me I'm stumped even if those lights taper off differently :D Maybe it's an old man thing (I'm referring to myself here Andrew and not you ;)) |

I'm glad it's not just me. I struggle at times to tell the later model larger Audis apart, especially at a distance.
That's what I like about the D2. With its long straight lines, the size is much more apparent, giving it greater road presence. |
Thank You,
I now know that it is not only me. Bus pass, mine is 19 years old. Don't know how to use it though. |
Back end of an early D4 always looked like a contemporary A4 to me, just smaller, like a “mini-me”

Seriously, is the top car the 8? I HATE this trend of fake exhaust ends embedded in the rear valance. |
Looking on the Audi web site top is A8, bottom A6.
