A8 D2 Fl -front fog lights not working.
 

Can not get front fogs to work. The fuse is fine so fitted new fog light switch and relay and they still do not work. Auto electrician ran power directly from the battery and connected to one fog light and they both came on so lights are fine.

He thinks (not sure how competent he is though) that there might be a break in cable between either switch to relay or fuse box. Appreciate advice if any body has had and has rectified the same problem.

Could it be a defect at the column headlight switch which is linked to fogs?
