Roofbars for LWB D3

I realise that no-one seems to list bars for a LWB (D3 or D4), but, has anyone tried to fit the ones that are listed for a non LWB anyway?
If anyone has particular knowledge of this, is it to do with the contour/roof shape slightly altering further back?
