How big a job is it to fit B&O in an A8
 

my friend has bought a full set up of everything related to B&O out of an A8
then asked me to help fit it ????
jezzuz i said im not so sure about that
has anybody done this and whats involved please ????

By Full, do you mean door cards, rear parcel shelf, wiring loom and all the speakers, plus the two amps ?

It'll be a full interior out job, carpets and all, and once complete, you then have the joy of component protection so its a trip to Audi.

Its not a beginners level job imo - Done poorly and the interior will be ruined forever.

I'm not aware of anyone having done it, but I'm sure someone must have by now.

Bear in mind if the car you are retrofitting into is pre B&O availability, then you may have to be into modifying doors to allow the extra speakers to fit.

I was tempted a few times buy sets on eBay a while back. But without the parcel shelf and dash and door cards I was put off enough, (just enough after a few drinks).

Has to be the mother of all retrofits. Fair play to him for tackling it. Hope it works out well.
