Found this interesting
For those of us that have the ceramic brakes, you may find the following a interesting read

So the Audi 6 pot 'ceramics' are Brembo 19z, which were also available on Porsche. Therefore surely regular pads for steel discs must be available to fit that caliper. Just need to find a 380mm steel disc with the correct offset for when the time comes to replace the ceramics to steels and keep the existing 6 pot caliper.

Thats what i was thinking too

Just search the Brembo Gran Turismo Brake System Application List and they do a 380mm x 34 drilled. Part number 101.9003A
It's a two piece kit, but the original center bell from the ceramics could be used again for the correct offset for the D3 S8 +++ As for the rears, just get W12 calliper carriers, W12 discs and regular pads. http://www.carid.com/images/brembo/p...ake-rotors.jpg |
Nice find, i see they also do other discs in the same size, not sure if the bells would match up though.
Came accross these too http://www.ebay.de/itm/KERAMIK-CERAM...3D221416755325 |
That's an even better find, a complete plug and play kit.

Or you could sell me your ceramic calipers/part ex for my stock S8 ones 😉 just sayin....

Here's a set of Porsche Brembo 19z that are for sale, they are nearly identical to the S8's Ceramics. The bells wouldn't fit though, and you'd need a custom bracket. Gonna cost a lot!
http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/322109679642 These could be made to fit. www.ebay.co.uk/itm/291765799211 As could these 6 pots http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/141815422587 http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/351564792091 |
