Contra to popular belief the SWB sport is exactly the same as the S8 bar the engine. They share the same gearbox . suspension and so on. It is just the engine that differs.the lwb is a different kettle of fish all together.

With all due respect there more than likely are 61 SWB A8s... im referring to SWB W12s not A8s in general. You searched audi swb

All though i had no idea there were so few in total. I guess that excludes LWB though.only 29 of them left

For some reason the 6.0 SWB was registered as that. If you click my link, then click on the model type and select engines it clearly shows they all have the cubic capacity of the W12....

This site seems reasonably trustworthy given that its data direct from the dvla, but I am wondering where you got the figure of 7 from ?

For some unknown reason my car always comes up as a long wheelbase. When i search for parts using my reg no it always says Audi A8L 6.0

There never really accurate to be fair and not being funny this was a thread for a car for sale ive no idea why there seems to be a need to dilute the topic. I gained the number of 7 from a friend at Audi. And no i have no idea what system they use i can only guess that its a vin number ect i have searched on how many left ect and many other sights and it always allows me to search W12 .
On how many left .co.uk under audi and A8 you can see A8 W12 and A8L W12 listed and when you Click LWB it states 30 or so and under SWB see for yourself.

Clearly a bit of conflicting information from both parts. I guess we can settle at its a rare car to find and leave it at that.
Preferably il like an admin or mod to remove the posts as i am trying to sell a car for a friend not duscuss whats wrong with the post

I think that's a nice example of a SWB W12. Good luck with the sale +++

Just to add, there were 220 LWB and 74 SWB D3 A8 W12 registered new in the UK during 2003-2010.

So for 67 to remain, they have been driven very carefully.
