Down through the infamous (and inaccessible!) "big drains" that I, and many others, have regular battles with.
(My recent thread on the topic: http://forum.a8parts.co.uk/showthread.php?t=12219 ) Circled in red in this diagram, mine get blocked there, then there's item #26 attached below there which funnels the water down either side of the transmission and can get blocked in the rubber outlets: |
Welcome to D2 world. This is possibly the most written about subject on this forum so you will find the answers all here. +++

Thanks guys i can't clean the car now as it keeps filling up each time haha
i will investigate further trust it to be somewhere least accessible |
Have you tried the 'easy' drains in the wheel arches?
|
okay will check there as well +++

It's an easy fix and well worth being the first check. On advice from an Audi specialist, I've removed the rubber 'teats' as they just seem to aggravate the problem (they just pull off).
