Replacement Struts - Arnott v Aerosus?
 

Hi Lads,

Getting near hopefully to all current issues being sorted out. My present mission is to replace 2 x leaking front struts.

I've read the threads here and wondering if anyone has had experience of Aerosus struts? I purchased a compressor off them last year and found them very good with a 2 year warranty. I read that most people seem to go with Arnott but they're expensive fix so before i dive into Aerosus or indeed Arnott, wanted to check here to see if anyone had any wisdom they might share with me.

I had this exact dilema. Whilst there were plenty of positives for the Aerosus, I decided to go for the Arnott in the end as I found a decent price on AutoDoc. Eurocarparts did them too and the price wasn't bad for the FR but the FL (which I needed) was nearly double the price for some silly reason. What's the price difference? If the bag is leaking, you can replace just the bag - there's a video somewhere on how to do it
