*maybe* 4.2 Tdi for Sale...
Just dipping toes in water to see if there's any interest.
Buying an RS6 is a minefield like none other. Its been a real eye opener. I have one on the go, but its stretching me a bit further cost wise than I'd planned. At the same time, this 4.2 TDi of Richards is bloody awesome. The 4.2Tdi is brisk at the best of times, but with the remap and slight damp on the roads im regularly challenging the traction control in third gear. Very torquey beast , and with a good spec too: Adaptive Cruise Control Glass Sunroof Advance Key Bose Adaptive Xenons Heated Seats x 4 Quad zone heating Auto Boot Digital TV DAB Radio Heated Steering wheel Extended leather pack 1 Tow Bar Auto Dim mirrors AMI 6 CD Changer 20" Alloys Comfort seats 37 mpg on a long run, running at about 30 overall average. More power than a 4.2 Petrol, and on the motorway will cruise along side an S8 or W12 happily (but overtakes when they stop for fuel.... :D) 115K miles and a very clean enthusiast owned car to be fair. Blue with a very well presented cream interior. Stands me at 10K. P/X considered with cash my way as only need about 5K in the bank to make the RS6 deal work a bit sweeter and would prefer to keep a 'spare' car handy....+++ Its not definitely for sale yet. If I can work a deal to keep it, I will. Its that good... +++ Sorry no photos yet, not at home and car is more off an off-salt-white at present....;) |

Hi,
Just been looking around for information in advance of a planned purchase in a few months time IT. I am definitely interested, but am looking more towards May/June time for my purchase. Will let you know if that changes. Mark |
Hi Mark,
No worries. I still haven't found an RS6 yet and to be honest, I do love this A8. Driving it for a bit longer is no hardship whatsoever +++ |
