I need a PCP deal
Hi,
PCP isn't for everyone: I don't want to open a can of worms here... :tuttut: I have a need for a car big enough for a 6'2" bloke, no need to carry passengers or much luggage. I just don't want to put miles on the A8... I want a "metal for the money" suggestion please, especially from you motor trade insiders who know which firms are "buying sales" by subsidising PCP deposits...:rolleyes: I'm not proud: would you lot consider a Dacia Duster?? Robert |
If it's just to save putting miles one (for commute) then anything comfortable will do. Just make sure you drive it enough to be happy with it as you will be tied in.
What about a second hand mile muncher? Or another D2? |
How many miles? bear in mind that PCP deals tend to be mileage driven, if tha isn't an issue then take a look at lease deals also......
But if big mileages are the plan, I'd buy a diesel passat/golf and run it for ever  |
Thanks... Still looking
Hi,
Thanks for those thoughts, I need something that can be depended upon as my work may need a reliable vehicle. Perhaps an Audi site is the wrong zone to ask about "boxes" but I know there are a few of you "in the know" about the motor trade... +++ Any more thoughts? Robert |
even new cars cannot be reliable
i would buy a 1.9tdi skoda roomster laugh you may but they are perfect for a tall bloke reliable, economical, wont cost the earth to maintain yes we have one and its our 2nd one too just a thought ok a Daft one sorry http://www.autotrader.co.uk/classifi...01806127413427 |
Are JW car warranties totally worthless??

Thanks for that idea and I GENERALY agree that even new can have faults. But I can't fix ANYTHING on a car ( I am only so-so / OK on home DIY etc) and my work would be affected immediately if I had ANY problems ("you took the job" etc). :-( For only teb4th time in my life I am going for a Waranty, will buy the extended warrant to the end of the term, get the car serviced "on the dot" etc. I know that is a rip off. I have to pay for the safety and have little to put down up front (timing is terrible!). Robert |

There, my work here is done! As stated, even when you buy a brand new car on PCB, with service, maintenance and all of the 'protection' boxes ticked, you can still get hit with a large bill.:tuttut: My lesson is learnt and I won't be trying that again! |
