A8 D3 (4E) S8 Grill BNiB 05-07 and others

Guys, just a quick one.
As mentioned before, I buy all brand new parts/bits from Germany only coz this way I can avoid paying VAT and parts are cheaper there.

I'm in the middle of negotiating the final price but it looks like the top price inc. DHL shipping will be £320 for a Brand New genuine S8 grill.

Any one interested in getting one as well??

are you buying from this guy on ebay?
or is that you?

I contacted this guy directly through his email, I always do that.
He is just a normal independent Audi/VW dealer in Germany.
We made a deal on no VAT price of 359Euro + 19.90Euro DHL shipping which works out about £320 and in my opinion this is a very good deal for a genuine brand new S8 grill.
He will be sending me payment details over the weekend.
If I get more than 1 then we said he will do a discount.

Also he said that all the members will have a discount on any brand new and genuine Audi parts.

PS. A8 parts guys, I hope this isn't against your policy for listing things here because you are dealing only with used A8 parts and we talking here about brand new parts only, is that correct?? So it doesnt collide with your business, am I getting this right coz I really really don't want to upset anyone.

A8Parts can do new parts too, might be worth checking what they can get it for.

Hi
Message sent, waiting for reply.

Do you have or know anyone with a VAT registered company because then you could pay him directly and have them shipped directly to you.
This is just to avoid paying VAT in Germany (19% off the asking price)

I don't mind paying for even 10 of them, but I do mind situations where someone is changing mind, or something goes wrong and they can't pay, you now, **** happens and then I will have to shift them all to get money back.

Sorry to be a killjoy but there is no legal way to avoid the UK VAT. Yes you might get away with it but personally I wouldn't take the risk.

A8parts do new, and used parts.

I dont see a huge problem with this particularly niche group purchase, but as already mentioned UK VAT is due on all goods (with a few minor exceptions) sold from a VAT registered business to an individual.

So, carry on with the group grill purchase, but please no futher comments on the topic of VAT circumvention. Thanks.

Guys, this is a European Law, nothing dodgy or illegal about it.
If you leave in UK, you can buy any goods from any European country and don't pay the VAT rate for that country. You don't pay the VAT in UK because you are not buying goods in UK.

All you have to do is ask the seller to not include VAT/TAX.

If you leave in France, you can buy any goods from any European country without paying their TAX, netto price.

This is real stuff, when we visited Poland last year, we went to H&M on the High Street and by the checkouts there were information boards telling you that if you are a tourist or you don't live in Poland you can buy any clothes from H&M minus Poland's VAT rate.

I'm not 100% sure if this applies to all the purchases but no one never declined my request and I've done quiet few purchases already

I'm talking here about goods from Germany not UK !!!!
so not a killjoy ;)

I bought this way Zimmerman drilled discs from Germany, tail lights, and plenty other BRAND NEW only bits for my mate and my self.

IT, I'm not that stupid or disrespectful to this community to promote illegal activities in avoiding paying TAX.

Foreign seller needs to just make the note of your VAT number for his Tax Man (you do need to be a VAT registered company to benefit from it, you can't buy it this way if you are just a guy from the street)
