New weekend toy
 

After a friends recommendation I got my weekend toy.......

Noggy blue s4, got it for a real good price, needs TLC, it's is already a very good car but I want everything to be mint on it, few paint blemishes sorted out and dent the PO put in the door, and the engine needs a detail with a tidy up and a few things replacing to make it like new again, I really enjoyed the drive home, it felt special and exciting, and fast lol! It goes like the clappers for what it is, I'm going to look forward to getting this car mint and enjoying it over the summer months +++

Very nice. What is the performance of these things like, and are they AWD? Forgive my ignorance.

Yes they're quattro. Manual 6sp, 2.7 biturbo v6, 265ps should be good for 0-60 in 5.5s. Not too bad for a 17 year old car.

That's some performance. Similar to Porsche 911 of similar vintage (996). What a pocket rocket!

In the real world you'd expect mid 6's for 0-60. The B5 has a strong following and the 2.7 is great engine for mod'ing.

The 2.7 Bi Turbo is held in very high regard...

I once considered it would be a very interesting installation into a D2 +++
