Leather Care Recommendation
Hi,
As most of you know, I have a black Sports interior and although it was in fairly good nick, you could see that it had been used a fair bit and so i started searching for a product that would help combat this. I've used gliptone and liquid leather before and although they are good to keep an existing good set of leather great, they didn't necessarily revive it to the standard that i was hoping. I bought a leather renovation kit from Woolies Trim http://www.woolies-trim.co.uk/images...large/1033.jpg The cleaning product is very very good - the best i've seen on the market so far and it really brings the leather back to life. The dye is actually very very mild and the cleaning solution does about 80% of the work in this process. Application is easy and it doesn't stick. I haven't added the last stage yet - the sealer - I am very impressed thus far. My seats look almost brand new again with noticeably fewer creases, tighter wrap around the cushions and enhanced colour. It even feels a lot better and more nourished. Althought not cheap at 60 quid for 4 seats, the results i have gotten on my rear seats so far are really positive. Take a look at the following before and after pics below taken with my crummy 2MP iPhone camera. I highly recommend this product and the supplier too....delivery was next day! +++ Rear Passenger-side Seat... http://farm4.static.flickr.com/3407/...c11503caa4.jpg http://farm4.static.flickr.com/3304/...c9af94867b.jpg Rear Middle Seat... http://farm4.static.flickr.com/3585/...e32fe2a2a0.jpg http://farm4.static.flickr.com/3379/...5aa2affdc8.jpg Rear Drivers-side Seat... http://farm4.static.flickr.com/3327/...f001a7e20c.jpg http://farm3.static.flickr.com/2483/...g?v=1244146256 |

http://forum.a8parts.co.uk/attachmen...1&d=1285513371 After cleaning the front seats I had a very dirty cloth, http://forum.a8parts.co.uk/attachmen...1&d=1285513371 One of the front seats after application of the dye, http://forum.a8parts.co.uk/attachmen...1&d=1285513371 And after application of the sealing past and a buff up, http://forum.a8parts.co.uk/attachmen...3&d=1285513347 One of the rear seats, http://forum.a8parts.co.uk/attachmen...4&d=1285513347 All in all easy to use and while they wern't as worn as Oli's they were different front to back and driver to passenger side. Now they are all the same. +++:) |
