is the A8 the new trojan ?
I am probably the only contributor here old enough to know what a trojan was [ to any american here , no , not that ] ; cornish roads used to be full of them , and the story was that it is downhill to get there , and they lacked the power to get out again
but since joining in with my fellow enthusiasts here I have notice that a certain region north of mr hadrian's construction is disproportionately represented here ; the cornish tale doesn't translate , I don't think north sea oil produces cheaper carburant , so there must be another explanation anyone care to educate me ? |
Too cryptic for me (I'm from simple folk, North of the wall, you see..). Needs filtered - without the glass of French red, maybe ;)

You were there at the fall of Troy? man you are old.

Well, there is a tale about Scots and Audis in general. Until recently, Glasgow boasted the largest Audi dealership in Europe outside of Germany. Apparently, again outside of Germany, the UK is the biggest European market for Audi and, per head of population, Scotland buys more Audis than the rest of the UK.
So, it's not such a surprise that so many Scots like the '8. |
The Scots will be attracted to the AWD, as I was +++

It's something I'd wondered about, and attributed it to the adverse weather conditions too.

SWMBO keeps telling me that age is only a number.
I was not at the Battle of Troy, I was too old :p Just a few days to go to my 76th. +++ |
Plenty of Trojans around, this is a little one:
