As you know Trevor, one of the joys of living in Northern Ireland is that we tend to pay more for second hand cars, so what I tend to do when I see one that looks interesting is to check autotrader for the same model and see what the price range is.

Just did that with this one, and something doesn't add up, as the closest on autotrader is £5,800 for a 3.1 CVT LWB.

We all know that traders seldom know what they have for sale in an A8, so tend to copy and paste from other ads, but even then, they would tend to sell for around the same price as competitors. My question would be why is this selling for so much less.

I've had a look through the photos and image 4 stands out. There is damage to the rear passenger side quarter panel. The next question has to be, is there more damage, or could it even be a Cat D, and not mentioned.

It's pretty close to you, so a Sunday afternoon drive might be the order of the day.
