I tried to get a close-up look at that last year as I was there for the whole 3 days, but you can't get in and near the cars without buying a catalogue (£80!) and producing loads of ID to register as a potential bidder! :tuttut:

Oh, wow! Are my kids too old to sell into slavery? After seeing a couple of E types at Belvoir Castle last weekend, I would just love one of these.

A friend in a neighbouring office bought this e type last year, it is absolutely stunning and worth something approaching £275,000
He's just bought an F Type "R" to keep him entertained during normal driving! :D

Some serious metal there!

For me, if I win the lottery tonight then for me the 250 SL would be at the top of my shopping list. It's just so understated and full of Sean Connery cool!
😉

The Maserati GranCabrio went very cheap.

The classic car market is funny.
Some cars I think are not that great are fetching silly prices, yet others I would love to own are relatively cheap.

XJS's are getting collectable now, and I can't believe the prices on Lotus Carlton's. I was tempted to buy one when I was in the UK around '01. Show the Aussie V8 Commodore brigade up with a car based off the same chassis!
They were cheap then!
Same with RS2's.
Both are more than I'm willing to pay now!

I might have to scratch the XJS and/or the M635CSI itch while they're still "affordable"!
