Do I Have An Age Problem?

I think that I might have an age problem.
I used to know where everything was. I could go to where they belonged and they would be waiting there for me. Special tools or parts that were needed every other Preston Guild would be there ready for me when I needed them.
Nowadays I cannot find anything. I know where it should be but when I look for it there is an empty space, grinning at me, Then whilst rooting around desperately trying to find it I miraculously locate the thing that I was searching for yesterday.
Of course, I have a wife that puts things away, a son that leaves it where he was using it, and a daughter-out-law that does the tidy up.
Then there are four living-in grandkids that do their own thing.
Maybe the prognosis is not so bad after all. But where the bloodie hell is that anologue to digital video convertor that I have needed for three days?

I'll give in, order a new one from China for £4, should be here next week.

Then when you've used it, you'll put it away "for next time" and find the old one in the same drawer!

That clip made me laugh so hard

Ray, you are not the only one who seems to have stuff disappearing. I can search for things as well without finding it.
Sometime it helps if I put on my glasses, but not always

Ray, it will get worse! I go to look for something, in the place it should be but, by the time I get there, I've forgotten what I was looking for! :(

There was a really interesting item on Radio 4 the other day explaining how/why when you walk through a doorway the change of context means you have a high probability of forgetting your purpose.

Then you walk back to where you came from, get recall on what your purpose is, then go back to get it the second time and... Where was I going with this?

I can't remember what I was going to say now...
