My latest project

I went to Haddington a couple of weeks ago and looked at a car, it was without MOT and I made a silly offer and was told that it was not enough. Last week I was on holiday in a hot place when an email came in saying that he would accept my offer so yesterday I was off to Haddington again after a call to my MOT man to book the car in for a pass certificate :D

I collected the car and drove 100 miles back to the MOT station where the car was duly checked and passed with the same advisories as last year. Slight corrosion on the front brake pipes and slight play on a bottom balljoint. +++ +++

Not surprising as it has only done 300 miles since it's last MOT :ROFL:

58k miles and FJSH all for the price of less than a set of tyres for the A8

Did you buy it so you can tell everyone you drive a Jaaaaaaaaaaaaag?

47p2 3rd March 2013 10:09 PM

I bought it because it is 15 years old, cheap to buy and insure and I always wanted a Jaaaaaaaaaag

Projects are fun, I want to do an RS 2 or something.

I've been in a few of these, feel so cheap/tacky/wallowy and clumsy compared to a D2, but it does waft, and is pretty.

I'll be following the thread. +++
