New Boots

Got a pair of Eagle F1 Asymetrics fitted yesterday. First impressions are good. Road noise is fine, however they are affected by white lines, I haven't tried ultimate grip yet as I think they need a few hundred miles on them first.
The last pair of Dunlops Sports only did 16k and I'm not sore on tyres. We shall see....;) |
Well, that's half of an Ian Dury album anyway. :)
|
What about the rock and roll......
err, That was a single, not an album wasn't it :) |
Make sure the pressures are spot on if it's tram-lining
|
The Tyre Fitter guy took the pressures from the fuel flap.
He cleaned up the wheel tyre bead lands thoroughly and was very careful to protect the rims with s slipper type arrangement on the tyre machine. New valve carefully fitted, ie he did not use the rim as a fulcrum. He knew the car needed to be put into Jack Mode as well, he was very professional unlike a KwikFit spotty youth +++ |
Best check your pressures with your own gauge, you'll probably find that all pressures vary by a couple of pounds
