Just had all my brakes done! Zimmerman discs (non sport) and TRW pads. Guy showed me my drivers side rear Caliper cover is cracked:mad: so need a new one. He said it’s ok temporarily. Any recommendations guys or does anyone have a spare one they need shot of

always find TPS to be pretty good if you can get an account or a mechanic who has one, always genuine parts and warranty with them+++

Last time I went into TPS:

60 quid for abs sensor - bought same Bosch sensor from auto doc, 14 quid
Engine undertray quoted 240, bought replica posted from Poland 32 quid
Intercooler pipe quoted 140, bought 2nd hand 40 eBay

Wouldn’t go near it

Lol. I agree good to shop around. Now you mention the undertray, where did you buy the fixing kit (screws)? And have they survived? Cheers

I used eBay to get replacements for mine. The following auction has all the necessary parts required:

https://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/Audi-Engi...IAAOSwjqVZAau8

and less than £6.00.

Apart from the ABS sensor, you can't compare the other two as they are either replica or 2nd hand. Great to shop around but you have to compare like for like

So you need just the caliper, no motor, no carrier.

I just gave away two rear sets of calipers to a mate and a friend, but I still have one spare (caliper only), will have a look which side it is.
