Rear HVAC Coding - Heated Rear Seats Inoperable

My heated rear heated seats have not worked at all to my knowledge and a few weeks ago, I had a rear seat airbag fault so took out the rear seat and cleaned and reseated the connection which cured the (commonish) problem.

While I was there I checked the rear heated seats connector for ohms and they were fine with a low resistance which matched their wattage.

When I turn on the rear heated seats, the button illuminates and the number 1-6 appears on the LCD but goes off after a couple of minutes and doesn't get hot.

When I look at rear HVAC 28 in VCDS it has two fault codes :
Rear vented seat left no communication
Left vented seat left no communication
but the seats are not vented.

The coding for rear HVAC is 000000 and general HVAC is : 0084051
but there is no helper in VCDS:
