Menorca postponed yet again, been touring the lakes, yorkshire dales, yorkshire east coast, everywhere is rammed with people and roads very busy..and it rattles a lot, and is slower than a a very slow thing but been enjoying every minute though +++

Got the long wheel base model, you can tell, the back doors are the same size as the front

Isn't this whole caravanning thing more hassle than a 'holiday'?

It's probably frustrating driving a huge box on wheels through narrow lanes to some place only to find out there's nowhere to park and then you have to sleep in a tiny bed and defecate into a platic box you have to empty etc etc..

Hope you're having a great break - it's a fascinating experience in one of these. Almost completely not like driving, but great fun & with an endless list of places to pull over and stop for the night. I had a great time doing this in NZ a few years ago, and can understand why you're enjoying it so much +++

As an HGV licence holder that rear overhang wouldn't look out of place on a 17T HGV! That must make for 'fun' right hand turns from filter lanes if you've got stuff coming up the inside of you.....

Do fancy a motorhome holiday - I'd probably cheat and take a car too, so you didn't have to pack everything away to head to somewhere for half a day without moving sites

I assumed living space? Looks to only have single wheels on the back axle so very much doubt it's got the load capacity to carry a car inside. Mate's camper is even longer, but his is 3 axle.....

Just about to say the same thing. Flew into Christchurch (South Island), drove around the entire island, ferry across to Wellington (North Island) and drove all the way up to Cape Reinga, before driving back to Auckland and back to the UK. That holiday confirmed our decision to move to NZ.

Yup - and as a method of transport to (slowly...) take in wonderful scenery, it's better than a passenger car - though just as exciting to drive round tight bends, if for different reasons
