Ah let me come back to you on that as I have factory reset it. It was on EE but I am sure new phones now come unlocked? Will check though.

Easy way to check is to go <settings>, <general>, <about> and scroll down to 'network provider lock'. If unlocked it'll say 'No SIM restrictions'
