Windscreen wipers
 

Hi all

The computer at Halfords does not list wipers for the D3 S8 or any D3 for that matter. Anywho, anyone know the fitment/code for D3 S8 wipers? The Bosch aero twin blade style.

Be careful not be de duped into LHD wiper sets on ebay etc...

After a few rubbish aftermarket sets, I would stick to Audi ones for £45 fitted let them wash and vacuum the car, do a free winter health check, and eat as many biscuits and drink as much coffee as you can.

Audi main dealer fixed price servicing. Fitted. Cheaper than buying the parts at the parts desk. No idea why that is the case...

Loss leader to get people through the workshop door, so they can "find" a nice long list of jobs that need doing.

I’m need of a new set too. Who makes Audi blades then? SWF.

I'd definitely recommend the Audi ones. I had a courtesy car and was amazed by the wipers, so I swapped mine to the original Audi blades and I've never looked back.

Yep just had mine serviced at Audi and as said the wipers are fixed price at £49 which is cheaper than TPS (£26.xx +VAT)

I struggled to find any reputable decent aftermarket ones

They are quite easy to install, so TPS seem decent price??

Sorry I should have said that's PER blade so £53.xx +VAT

Comes to around £65
