Headlight Cluster Broken Securing Bracket Repair

I expect a few of us have seen this:

Well it can be fixed; and Audi even designed fixing it into the original design!
You will need these:

You get 2 in a kit. The part number is 4D0 998 121 Repair Kit.

To do this you'll need to remove the cluster and when you do you'll find that there is a hole specially placed for this repair.

Just screw in the replacement bracket and slip in the captured nut and Roberto is related to your mother!

I have suffered with broken clips for years, not knowing that there was a replacement kit out there!!!! Even asked Audi a couple of times!!!!

Gonna order some now, just cos I can ++++

I need these too. Crazy to think someone or someone’s had sat and thought it out enough that they designed in a repair procedure, obviously they could have just designed it so it didn’t brake but it would have left them with a huge pile of redundant repair kits I suppose:ROFL:

Edinko,

Can you get rid of that flashing smiley face on your avatar please - it's driving my eyes nuts and makes me close the threads....

Cheers mate.
