hi question for ian i think or anyone how nows how to take out rear seats off this car unslakened bolts under the the bottom part of seats but now what ??
im i missing something

I think you have to take the seat back out first and there's bolts at the back of the seat base too.

For the base of the seats, there are 2 cross head bolts just below the front of the squab, hidden behind a flap in the carpet. But you have to remove them, not just slacken them. That's all that secures the base IIRC.

I dont honestly recall.

You probably need to look at my build thread carefully, along with looking at Elsawin.

The two rear seats have lots of cables that connect into the center, fixed section.

From memory, you pull up the center squab at the front and it pulls out towards you. This reveals the mass of cables that you will need to unplug to stand any chance of removing the seats.

The left and right seat are all one item.

Remove the bolts under the front edge (as you have) then I think the back rests push up and lift over some wheeled runners....

This was > 2 years ago..... ;)

Dont break it. You've *no* chance of getting spares.... +++

Thanks I will try looking tommorow at work can't remmber seeing how to take out seats but I will look thanks
