Just like an English meet.
Friday : Go there, book into hotel, buy a beer, speak car bollocks (mainly in English), eat German food (which is just like English)
Saturday : Breakfast (continental unless you know the waitress), Ditto.
Sunday : Ditto until sober enough to drive to the ferry.

  • Visit five countries in one day
  • Visit the Nurburgring to check it is closed (every damn time)
  • Set the cruise control to 130mph (still can't keep up with Ray)
  • Car stuff
  • Good food
  • Swearing at Dutch caravans

:D

Thanks MJ.

Sounds like a plan....

Not sure the A8 is going to hit 130 though, I will stay with the Dutch caravans ;)

Basically we all meet in Dover Thursday afternoon and get either the Calais or Dunkirk ferry.

Drive carefully through France and Belgium trying not to attract attention!
Lager up overnight in Holland, great steak and good beer.
Possibly joined by some of the Dutch 8s in the morning and head off to the German border. Increase to warp speed and cross Germany to the event.
Arrive, check in and order a beer and check out the 8s in the car park and catch up with our German friends.
Saturday is a day out organised by the Germen 8 owners. Saturday night a sit down meal with prizes from the days events and Ray steals my longest distance travelled trophy! :p
More beers!
Sunday, BIG breakfast and start the journey home...... +++
