Problems I had with 1.8T Audi

During 2001 I rented a 1998 Audi A6 [1.8T] "S" for 1 week. It exploded within a day of having it :Confused::Confused:

[It had smoke coming out of it, then it exploded. I was starting the engine on my drive]

Anyone else experienced a similar problem with this kind of Audi? :Confused:

I also had a problem in 1987, when I drove my dad's 1981 VW Derby [1.3] "W" plate and it exploded [in Accrington] :Confused:

The 1 in 1987 was because of oil leaking over the computer [in car] and it exploded :)

Don't know about the 2001 1, but it wasn't because of oil leaking over the computer [mechanic checked] :)
