Changing rear carpet

Hi does anyone know what’s involved with changing the rear carpet in a 97 s8? And wether a fl carpet would fit so I have more chance of finding a new one?
Thanks

Rear carpet? the interior is one piece so you have to remove seats, center console and a few other bits.

Yeah its one piece from the A pillars back. It can be done in a day if you're reasonably adept at removing the seats and centre console. Tbh the console is the worst part of it since you need all of the radio cage etc out.

The FL carpet has shorter pile than the PF and therefore feels slightly less plush, but Prestige have all the usual colours in PF and FL so you might as well go with the proper one :)

Thanks for that. Looks like I could maybe Stanley it to save taking all the dash out (don’t shoot me) Im low on free time and in 2 minds as to just get rid of it anyway. Since I locked it away the mice have used it as a hotel :(
