Driver (mainland Europe) side window makes rubber rubbing noise going down
 

What could be the cause as taking off the aluminium plate to observe inside the door makes it impossible to roll down the window to reproduce the noise. Sounds like a piece of rubber on a smooth surface. Not squeeling, more a rubbing noise. Only down, 9 out of 10 times.
