The Murple may not be there!
Following on from this thread, I did do Spa but it probably wasn't wise. Currently getting the AC de-gassed to fit a new pump but the work to identify the the air leak at the back of the engine necessitates the removal of the inlet manifold to access the underside. There is a possibility it's not a vacuum hose, but a corroded inlet manifold. I'm pulling my plugs to asses the degree of leaning out that's happened. Running the appropriate measuring blocks shows it's only happening a low revs/idle.
