I'd be inclined to think that no one at Audi spoke up because nobody saw anything wrong with the photo... it's a picture of a girl eating a banana in front of a red car! How terrible is that? In terms of what it adds, there are four other photos that serve no purpose either (*1).
In the context of the other photos used in the same advertising campaign for the car ( https://www.audi.de/de/brand/de/neuw...s-4-avant.html), I'm surprised that the snowflakes, PC brigade and SJWs didn't complain that Audi was being negligent of the surrounding dangers by showing photos of a car being driven (and parked) directly in front of a dam's sluice gates... god forbid there had of been a sudden flash flood that overwhelmed the dam resulting in the deaths of those in the photo and those behind the camera! (sarcasm)
(*1) There are also photos of safety issues of people standing on seats so they can look out the sunroof, playing with a kite near a car, encouraging a child to lie in the boot of a car and worst of all, sitting next to a 450hp / 600Nm car wearing children's sunglasses whilst happy in the knowledge that you're driving a car that has a severely deformed rear wheel (all sarcasm).
If someone at Audi needed to speak up about the content of the photos, it was the last one I mentioned as it must have been taken with a 'potato camera'.
