Nice comprehensive description Chris, good luck with the sale, hard to part with, I'm sure - though I couldn't see the mileage. Did I miss it? (eyes ain't what they used to be...)

Doh!

135,000 as of this morning, driving it every day so this will go up.

It's going to be tough saying goodbye, went for a drive last night with the windows down, listening to the V8...that sountrack...*sigh*.

I can't get away from the fact that next year I will do double my normal annual mileage, and I just can't afford the extra £3-£4k on fuel.

It's been an expensive year of ownership, but I knew this might be the case when I bought a 14 year old S8 for not a lot of money - so I've done everything that has needed doing...expecting to keep driving it for a few years and getting the benefit of money spent...sadly this won't be the case!

I've put down a deposit on a VW Polo 6n2 Gti 5 door...not quite in the same league but a lot cheaper to run!

For reference you can easily fit two people in the boot, but three is a squeeze. Equally, two full sets of golf clubs will fit, but probably not at the same time as the bodies.

Chris

Yeah but you try lifting one out after braking hard

Awesome discription, good luck with the sale +++

Valid point! Much easier to have live bodies in there...that said once Joe got in for that picture, it was a bugger to get him back out...drunk as a skunk.

Cheers fella, here's hoping that someone wants to take it off my hands...

Nice car, just saw your post on my thread, I'm sorted now. Contisport 5's are supposed to be really good.

Can't recommend the Contis enough. Night and day compared to the Avon ZZ3s that were on there when I bought it.

All day writing serious business stuff for a software company...the silliness has to escape into the internets!
