Small list

Since Friday I've travelled from Plymouth to Weston, to Swindon, back to Weston, to Swansea, to chepstow, back to Weston and tomorrow I'm going home.

In that time the flood has/is happening.
In order.
lost voice control and phone microphone.
lost the parking sensor display on the MMI.
Odd rubber rubbing noise when break with a specific amount of force.
the odd clunk when with breaking with a lot of force.

The first bit was my fault and I ticked a box when playing with VCDS.

The parking sensors I have no idea. They was fine most of Friday but today and possibly Friday evening there's nothing.parking sensors work just no display.
No ideas what happened.

The main issue is this noise when breaking.
It has to be a specific braking force or it won't make it.
It sounds like it's coming from the passenger.
it sounds like something is in the seat rubbing on the leather.
the car is empty and nothing to cause this notice.
It only happens when braking Nothing when turning, bump or roundabouts.
I can't work it out. Sort of me thinks it's the front suspension arms. It the noise is so clear in the cabin and sounds like the seat is rubbing on the dash.

i got to fit my engine tray tomorrow so I'll check the suspension out when the car is jacked up.

Anyone got any ideas?

I'm tempted to say that since the "under tray/fox incident" this has caused other parts of your bumper and arch liners etc to move out of alignment so they are rubbing somewhere. The whole under tray system is reliant on everything being correctly connected to everything else and from experience the minute part of the under tray gets damaged or broken and some connectors don't work then other bits move and start to rub and make scuffing noises. That incident may also mean that your park sensor connectors have worked loose or the wiring been damaged somehow.

I would get the car onto a ramp and take a good look to see if there is anything obvious with either.

Car on the ramps.
Under tray fitted.
The APS graphics was turned off in the MMI, I never turned it off but its on now.

The odd squeaking when breaking is still there.
I can't see any signs or reasons for it.

I'm going to talk to a mate next week and get him to have a look. see if can see anything or got any ideas.
I'm stuck.

Maybe you need a fox exorcist ;) lol

I agree with Neil, if one undertray panel is misaligned or twisted a little, then it also warps others connected to said panel plus further ones around it.

All under trays are now back on, secured correctly and aligned correctly.

it's better now than it was before.
