While I had the rear wheel off I put it next to my van to see if it would work..

You'd need some very deep spacers (and long bolts) to get it outside the wheel arch.....:rolleyes:

might work if there was no tyre on the rim, ride might be a bit harsh and handling a bit suspect...

Keep it OEM, they look awesome when original.

I was watching Classic Car Rescue last night and they were restoring '66 split screen VW Camper which you can actually win.
Txt messages sent and fingers crossed, I just love them for some reason and would love to own one
