I had the chance to have the S8 detailed yesterday and have to say I'm very satisfied with the results

The guy was very complimentary about the paint condition and said it's been well cared for during the last eight years and has had no repairs done, or ever likely to have been through a car wash. He said the Audi paint was great to work with and the session was relatively trouble free compared to some cars he gets to work on. A lot of work was done on the lower areas of the car and the "gravel rash" from 120,000 miles of motoring has all but gone, I'm more than happy with the finish achieved.

He spent in excess of twelve hours on the exterior paint, trims and wheels and I've done the interior leather with Gliptone cream, hoovered it and cleaned the windows, time to relax and admire now ;)

Looks awesome Ron! He's certainly got. It looking ultra clean with a great shine - it will also stay clean more easily now as long as you keep up the wax levels on it - what did he use as a finishing wax?

Thanks Neil, really happy with it, it looks even better in the flesh.

The finishing products were Carlack, which I'm told are good........results certainly look great to me. I listened to all the advice on how to maintain it and prevent deterioration so I consider myself educated +++

I was sat here thinking to myself there were a few issues before I realised it'd my monitor's that are dirty.

Truly stunning sir!

I'm planning on booking the D2 in next week or week after. Really looking forward to the results. :)

Sorry Neil, I misunderstood your question, it was Colonite 476S wax I believe, does that sound right?
