Wanted D2 S8 UK - a repeat of last year!

Last year I was determined to get an Audi D2 S8, I reached out to the forum and got a great response, however I couldnt find a nice one. I ended up buying a low mileage Honda TypeR EP3 which very happy with. I now want to scratch my V8 itch?

I am looking for a low mileage (around 80k) excellent condition, low owner D2 S8, blue or black not silver or with a cream interior.

Im based in Woking Surrey, but willing to travel (within reason)

I was planning viewing an S8 that 5starclassics had for sale tomorrow, but they emailed me saying a deposit has been taken.

80k is very low mileage for a D2 S8, so it may take you a while, particularly if "travel within reason" is a smallish mileage radius: you're at pretty much the southern end of the country, so you may well find that the available good ones are several hundred miles away from you ;).

Wow! I had to do a double take on that, as I thought it was mine at first :ROFL: (but missing the S8 plate, of course - and my winter nine spoke 20" rims, given the season)

The Final Edition seller advertised it at £15,500 5 days ago so it's good to see him realigning his expectations down to £15k - for a Cat C car. ;)

Isn't the £15k 'Buy it now' price a bit OTT for a Cat C car?

i would suggest very over the top. still if he gets it great for our values

I'm thinking of selling mine in a few months time, however it's got a higher mileage, sitting at just under 138k miles ATM, and I'm several hundred miles away from you.

I was searching for that low mileage pot of gold too, not seen one for sale for 5 or more years, not at sensible money anyway.

Brian's is a great car, wanted to buy that myself back in the day.

I've still got my 2002 Audi S8 thinking of advertising it soon
