MMI 2G Android Auto & Apple Carplay
 

Hi guys,

I would like to upgrade my MMI with add on for Android Auto & Apple Carplay. Unfortunately I don't have AMI so this complicates things to an extent. I'm mainly worried about not having a clear sound due to interference.

I've looked at this two solutions:

Did anybody used any of this products and how are they working?

Does anybody have any better proposal? I'm looking to buy unit that is available in Europe.

I have one of these in my car currently. It’s been totally fine. I did get some distortion from connection through the TV module. But I redid it through the AMI and it’s been flawless.

I recommend removing the Nav disc though.

I am looking for a supplier from EU to avoid paying customs fees.

After a lot of studying I've purchased this one because it connects to MOST and not to 3.5mm for audio which should produce better sound quality

My only downside and complaint is that A8 D3 screen is very lowres and it shows... But I'm getting use to it.

Upside is a very nice integration of phone with MMI as well as clean and crisp sound! Go for it, worth every penny.
