RS6 brakes on a D3
 

Well, nearly.... I got a step closer.

After I got a puncture in a front wheel, and it ended up sat in the garage it became far too tempting to pop that wheel on the hub with RS6 discs and calipers and see how much work was needed, and whether it would fit at all....

Well. The photos says it all really, a straight swop. Wheel off. 2 caliper bolts off, hydraulics and pad sensor swop over and pop it back on....

I need to see how the house build pads out as to whether I can justify fitting these rather expensive brakes to my motor, especially as Its just had pads all round <doh> +++

Bearing in mind that is a 20" wheel, I think it fills it rather nicely... +++

ah yes, but this was only a mock up Oli....

I borrowed a D3 hub from a8parts to save be having to fanny around with my daily driver for the test....

You'll note from the photo that the rest of the car isnt surrounding the wheel... +++
