D2 side light bulb replacement

I've had a look and can't see a thread on how to do it. I've tried twisting both ways, pushing and twisting etc but still no joy. Help please

If I remember correctly, the bulb holder just pulls out, along with the bulb. There's no twist-lock mechanism. I think it just clicks into place. Try gently pulling on it.

Cheers. I'll have another go in the morning.

FL / PF? I thought there was a spring clip. I take it you don't have the owners book?

I do but it doesn't mention how to. Daft question what is FL/PF?

PF = pre facelift (indicators are completely separate lamps)
FL = facelift (headlamps are one piece units including indicators)

On fl versions sidelamp holder is a straight pull from back of housing

If you've got the simple pull out holders they'll look much like the pic about 2/3 of the way down this page

These are bi-xenons but think the normal xenons take the same fitting on FL.

That's right, it doesn't twist or screw. Just give it a wiggle and the bulb holder will pull out allowing you to replace the bulb.

Mine are a white colour unfortunately every time I've tried to take a pic to see what to do I can't get a decent enough one. When I get back from work I'll have a go at pulling them.

Cheers all
