So, here she is.... I've been without an 8 now for quite some time, and although the RS6 was quick, it just isn't an 8... So, decided time to make the driveway look nice again and just picked up this 4.2QS today... :D

Ming blue (which I've always loved) and the interior is platinum (light grey) so nice contrast. I've got a few extra toys to add, but suffice to say shes got a good spec on her already so I'll just top it up :rolleyes:

LPG converted which is a nice bonus..... 360bhp and 50p / litre, plus its pre March 2001 so old style tax disc charging.... Doesnt get much better than that :D

Has it still got the A8 gear ratios? How does it feel to drive if so? A lot diffrent to a standard S8? Better MPG?

No, annoyingly its runnng a full s8 setup, box, diff, the works. I am toying with the idea of putting A8 ratios on it - but - the S8 power is really quite addictive, and with the LPG it probably wont make as much ££££ difference if I go the effort of changing... If it was a pure petrol burner I think I'd have to do something about it though...!

We've had a few sets of xenon plus through.... If you register your interest via email to the normal channels we have ways of tracking these requests now that 'first come, first served' +++

Sort of went like this:

Owner> My engines broken. Have you got an A8 4.2.
A8Parts> No, sorry....
Owner> Any other 40v?
A8Parts> S8 just come in....
Owner> That'll do... :rolleyes:

Anyway, they were only fixing the engine to sell it and by chance I wanted a car and spotted it for sale shortly after all the hard work had been done... <phew>.... :D
