CD stack problem
having cleaned the stack with a CD cleaning disc selecting a disc now gets a CD to play, after about a minute, then stops again , after perhaps 30 seconds
anyone had this? |
No. Plenty of "CD Errors" which usually cleared after removing and re-loading the CD cassette but not something like you have described. Sorry its not much help :o
|
thanks ,not at all
will try what you did , reload and see if it helps |
I've got a spare CD changer somewhere, but I suspect I'm not alone in that.....

There are later versions that I've seen with a "B" (not A) suffix that seem to have a different connector. Quite sure mine worked (or used to, been in store for a while) on my S8 as I've swapped them over several times when "playing with" wiring for TV inputs to the RNS-D. I did connect it very briefly today, but only to eject the CD cartridge and confirm it was empty - I thought I might have left some in at the last swap! |
