mine is super clean according to my mot man (almost 49,000 miles)
yes there are some Mucky ones i suppose , but keep pointing the finger at all dervs makes me sick !
my car (so special i know) one day will be obsolete but for now in quite impressed and so glad i own it again (this time for good)

Congratulations passing the MOT +++
It is worth a lot. You say you will keep it forever. That tells me you too think your car is worth more than other cars ;) Being very happy with the car is all one can ask for, right?

i factory ordered this brand new in 2008 (im now the 8th owner Dont Ask)
it's worth Nowt means its a cheap car now and not worth selling as its probably one of the best out there.
its not perfect but,
spec is high much higher than most.
color is very desirable and looks stunning in the flesh.
mileage is super low 49k and being 11 years old boasts 11 oil changes.
i did 2000 miles in it last year and it's off the road between nov-april every year so no salt.
retail at the time of ordering it came to around £60,000
now ??? £10-12k tops so whats the point i cant buy anything with that money to even come close.
its just a great car and drives just the same as when it was new.
actually better.

Totally agree with your comments on the derv-hating and find myself feeling somewhat the same, though in a pickle regardless.

My beloved D3 sailed through the MOT two months ago with super clean emissions, yet the mayor is going to charge me to drive it down my road in less than two years' time, leaving me no choice but to move it on.

Not as low mileage or quite as high specced as yours (still very decent) and I'm going to struggle to get anything anywhere near as good that's emissions compliant in my area, for three times the money.

Best car I've ever owned by miles, hate that I'm effectively being forced out of it.
